Snap

For roleplay and community servers

Every screenshot, in your server.

Snap turns your best in-game moments into a feed your members actually want to scroll. Post a screenshot, get likes and comments, and crown a Top Snap every week. It takes one command to set up.

Free to use. Snap never reads your server's messages.

Three Snap feed cards: a night patrol on a road with emergency lights, a city skyline and a coastline. A heart counter shows 248 likes and a comment bubble reads great shot.

Up and running in a minute

  1. Set it up

Add Snap, then run /snap setup and pick the channel where posts should appear. Optionally add a mod log, a Top Snap role and a public gallery.

  2. Post a screenshot

Members run /snap post with an image and a caption, and can tag a friend. The post lands in the feed with like, comment and report buttons.

  3. Let it run

Stories vanish after a day, the most liked snap of the week gets announced on Monday, and profiles fill up on their own. There is nothing to maintain.

Made to feel like the real thing

Posts with character

Each card shows the author's avatar and takes its colour from the screenshot itself. Hashtags like #M25 and tagged friends work as you would expect.

Stories

Share a moment that disappears after 24 hours. Snap deletes the message and the image for you.

Profiles and follows

Every member gets a profile per server with a bio, follower counts and their latest snaps. Moderators can award a verified tick.

Top Snap

Every Monday the most liked post of the week is announced, and the winner can receive a role until the next one.

An optional public gallery

Turn on the web gallery and your feed gets a page of its own. Links to posts unfold into a clean preview when pasted into Discord.

Moderation included

Members can report a post, moderators remove or dismiss it from the mod log with one click, and a word filter and an audit log keep things tidy.

Respects your members

Location data is stripped from every image. Anyone can erase everything they have posted with /snap forgetme.

Low maintenance

No privileged intents, no message reading, no dashboards to babysit. Ask an admin to run setup once and you are done.

Questions

Does Snap read my server's messages?

No. Snap only responds to its own slash commands and buttons. It does not use any privileged intents and cannot see ordinary messages.

What permissions does it need?

View Channel and Send Messages in the feed channel (and the mod log if you set one). Manage Roles is only needed if you want Snap to hand out a Top Snap role.

Who can see my server's gallery?

Nobody outside the server, unless an admin turns on the public gallery in /snap setup. They can turn it off again at any time.

What image types and sizes work?

PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF up to 8 MB. Images are converted to WebP and stripped of metadata. Animated GIFs are saved as still images.

What happens to the data?

Members can erase their own with /snap forgetme. If Snap is removed from a server, that server's data is deleted after 30 days. The privacy page has the details.
